First Thursday and spam
I got spam today, and I'm in it!

From my boy Deek Moore [lines wrapped by me, but I'm not fixing his lack of capitalization, that's probably an artistic statement.]:

 for all you conspiracy theorist out there i hate to disappoint you...this
has nothing to do with any coup attempts on the chief, city officials, apa,
cia, pio, dea, or anybody else.  the only conspiracy here is about a little
music and your favorite beverage. i am fully aware that the apa general
membership meeting starts at 7 on this day and that there will surely be some
griping. when you've had your fill stop by and see us.  (if you didn't
understand the last part, disregard)...
 
just a quick note to let you guys know that mick mcmillian (multi-talented
model/swat/high-tech detective/guitar god) and i are doing an impromptu gig to
kick off our 2004 world tour at "first thursday" this thursday. we are playing
from 7ish to 9ish in on the outdoor showroom floor of capital car credit on s
congress. for those of you who haven't ventured out to "first thursday" it's a
pretty cool block party with tons of arts, crafts, sale booths, live music,
and of course freaks. it's a byob event and there are usually several vendors
selling various food items (some, i'm assured, will be nearby).  feel free to
bring your walking shoes to check it out and a lawn chair to camp out if the
mood strikes.
 
capital car credit is on the west curbline of s congress just south of the
continental club (i'm guessing about the 1300 block). we will be under the
overhang so rain won't be an issue (unless of course we draw the 10,000 plus
we're expecting).  if you can make it great, if not there will certainly be
more to follow.
